The Moon and the Firework

Yes, firework, you're even brighter than the moon.

Think...
The moon is heaven-bound.  You're not.
The moon gets its light from the Sun.  You get yours from a match stick.
The moon is ever-present, even when its daytime.  You're there on New Year's Eve, even on Independence Day.
The moon lights up the sky at around six in the evening up to five in the morning.  You light up the sky for five seconds to a minute or until you die out and consumed to the last of your length.

But yes, now, from an earth-bound creature's point of view, you are brighter than the moon.
