The mountains have conquered me

Know that saying 'I came, I saw and I conquered'?

Well, I think (and believe) that I came, I saw but I never conquered. How could I? Or how could I not? Because it's the mountains that conquered me.

I've been conquered. That is why, though I have many mistresses, everyday affirms that mountaineering is my wife. :)
